Join us for a day of tradition and celebration as we honor Our Lady of Mount Carmel!

Morning Procession – Begins at 8:00 AM

Members of The Mount Carmel Society will gather at the Church of the Little Flower, dressed in traditional marching attire and sashes representing their membership. The statue of the Virgin Mary, beautifully adorned with flowers and white ribbons, will begin her solemn journey through the streets of Berkeley Heights.

The procession follows a historic route, stopping at the homes of past members in remembrance and respect. A band playing traditional Italian-American music will lead the way.

As part of the tradition, attendees may pin donations to the statue’s ribbons to honor the Blessed Mother. In return, each donor receives a Mount Carmel scapular, symbolizing devotion and protection.

All are welcome to join the procession at any point. The procession will conclude at 11:30 AM with the annual Mount Carmel mass at the Church of the Little Flower.

Community Picnic - Following after after 11:30am Mass

Please join us in gathering in the spirit of fellowship and tradition for a nice post mass meal.

Annual Feast - Begins at 6PM at the Church of the Little Flower

The traditional feast will begin at 6pm in the parking lot of the Church of the Little Flower. Please come and enjoy the food, games, beer garden, and entertainment as experienced in years past at the location where The Mount Carmel Society originally started!!!
